The mission of InnerCHANGE WORKS (ICW) is to design, develop, and implement culturally congruent, sustainable, and community-based programs that meet the basic human needs of health, education, and economic opportunity, both locally and globally.

We work to make lasting and culturally appropriate improvements in the lives of people by leveraging and networking service programs, small businesses, and committed international development partners.

In accordance with the InnerCHANGE WORKS motto, “Working together across cultures works for good,” our work results in global partnerships with a purpose, and friendships built through service.

The ICW model is based on the following principles:

• Diversity can be used by organizations and communities to their advantage
• The most effective models of development are those that are both imagined from within and developed in collaboration across cultures
• Real systemic change occurs when individuals and communities define their own needs

The Vision of ICW is to provide these communities with the opportunity to address these needs through sustainable, mutually beneficial, and entrepreneurial partnerships across local, international, and intercultural borders.
